SCO Education is currently in the final year of its three year programme to offer Fellowships to animateurs and SCO players. Through funding from the Scottish Arts Council, two Fellows are appointed each year to carry out research and deliver projets. The Fellowships are divided into an Education Fellowship and a Player Fellowship
|
The Education Fellowship provides a springboard for music animateurs/education specialists to deepen their practice, explore new ways of working and build creative relationships with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and with City Halls, a dramatic new music complex in Glasgow. |

| The Player Fellowship is a bursary for an individual SCO player or chamber group to embark on a tailor-made professional development programme over the course of one year. It is intended to enable players from the orchestra to develop or deepen their experience of working as an orchestral musician in an education and community setting. |
