Concert Highlights!
Climb
aboard the postal express train on its overnight journey
from Euston to Edinburgh in Night Mail , John Grierson's
classic documentary from the 19030's , with verse by WH
Auden and an evocative score by Benjamin Britten.
Travel
over seas with Isabella in this enchanting Oscar-nominated
animation by Italian master film makers Gianini and Luzzati.
Screened for the first time with live orchestra this enchanting
animation brings a unique visual artistry to Rossini's
comic opera The Italian Girl in Algiers. Follow the footprints
of the fateful soldier in Stravinsky's folk tale of a
soldier bewitched by the devil and the devil bewitched
by the soldier's violin.
