SCO Education collaboration with the Scottish Poetry Library - November 2007.
In November 2007, SCO Education worked in a Glasgow primary school with the Scottish Poetry Library and Scots language writer and educator Matthew Fitt to create a project using music and Scots words. Pupils worked with Matthew to start to write in Scots, then with SCO musicians and music educators on creative music sessions based on their own writing. The final performance was held on Friday 30th November. Matthew Fitt, who also runs Itchycoo Publishing in partnership, said:
