Individual Support

Play your part

The SCO is widely regarded as one of the world’s finest chamber orchestras, with a reputation for outstanding music-making, energy and innovation. We pride ourselves on bringing the very best in musical talent across Scotland, the UK and beyond and we aim to keep the SCO at the forefront of the world’s musical stage.

But we cannot do this without your support. Your help is essential to maintain the breadth and quality of musical activity undertaken by the orchestra and to help fund our concert Season, educational work, touring and recordings.

Why not be part of the music making and support the SCO by becoming a Patron. Whether you give £5 or £5,000 there is a Patron level to suit you:

  • Patron (up to £120 per annum)
  • Bronze Patron (£150 or more per annum)
  • Silver Patron (£300 or more per annum)
  • Gold Patron (£600 or more per annum)
  • Platinum Patron (£1,000 or more per annum)
  • Principal Conductor's Circle (£5,000 or more per annum)

As an SCO Patron you will receive regular updates on the work of the orchestra, information on how your gift has helped, and will be invited to special Patrons Receptions and events.

For more information on how to become a Patron call Annie Davis, Fundraising Co-ordinator (Membership), on 0131 478 8344, email her at annie.davis@sco.org.uk or write to her at Scottish Chamber Orchestra,

4 Royal Terrace, Edinburgh, EH7 5AB.

Named Player Chair

For those interested in making a more substantial donation to the orchestra we offer the opportunity to sponsor an SCO player. Whether you have a penchant for the French horn, there’s a budding viola player inside you or you particularly admire one of the Orchestra’s many characters, why not support the SCO by sponsoring a Named Player Chair.

For more information on sponsoring a Named Player Chair call Barry Ferguson, Sponsorship and Fundraising Director, on 0131 478 8343, email him at barry.ferguson@sco.org.uk or write to him at Scottish Chamber Orchestra,

4 Royal Terrace, Edinburgh, EH7 5AB.
